Chorus members are volunteers who are union members, pro-union progressives, social justice activists and friends who love to sing and harmonize. The chorus currently consists of approximately 30 members. We are  students, workers, retirees and the  unemployed.  We are sopranos, altos,  tenors, and bass/baritones.  Most of all, we love to sing!

Rehearsals are held every Tuesday  at 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Read and  Cathedral Streets in Baltimore.

Prospective members may attend one or more rehearsals to get a sense of the  chorus.  We invite all who enjoy singing, even those with no formal musical training, to join us. The choral director will meet with each prospective  member to assign a section based on vocal range.

Activists, labor unionists and community members: Plan to invite the Charm City Labor Chorus to sing at your next event to add music to your program and help build spirit and solidarity! We can help advise you on appropriate songs or sing-alongs to enhance your event.  References are  available upon request.

Please submit THIS FORM and submit it to the CCLC by email: charmcitylaborchorus@gmail.com.  We will be happy to consider your request.

We have performed at over 80 events, at venues large and small, including singing the National Anthem at several of the Orioles’ AFL-CIO nights at Camden Yards, rallies, fundraisers, such as the Govans Presbyterian Church’s Soul Kitchen annual dinner, and our own annual spring concert. Our rates are reasonable.
